As expected: Eng bt Aus

Vijay says this:
As I wrote yesterday, Australia has taken a bigger beating against England. England had 15 balls to spare as Pietersen powered England home. I thought Harmison's spell was decisive.
It can't get worse than this for Australia. Now they have lost 4 consecutive limited overs matches within a span of a week. Symonds being banned for 2 one-dayers is like adding salt to the wound for Australia. The team seems to have some real problems both on and off the field.
Australia has to come back strongly in order to save face in this series. Just 3 matches into the series; already a winner seems to have emerged......let's wait and see.

Bangladesh beat Australia

It was past 11 pm(IST), I was browsing the net when I gat an SMS from my frieng that was screaming "History created. Bangladesh beat Australia."
I couldn't believe it; as you see, I have been fooled enough times by my friend through SMSes. So I logged on to a cricket website.......
It's true. It's true. Bangladesh have indeed beaten Australia by 5 wickets. This is the most humiliating defeat Australia has suffered yet (yet?). The way things are going now for the aussies, it could get worse when they meet England in the next match. It's a great achievement by the Bangladeshis; Let's hope it's not just a flash in the pan. Of course, you can't expect them to pull it off again, but now atleast they have proven that they are no pushovers. Ponting was struggling to find the gaps. Martyn & Clarke consolidated the innings as Aus reached 249. You expect a team like Australia to defend that total on this surface. It was definitely not a batsman's paradise. But the australians can learn a lesson or two from Mohammad Ashraful's brilliant innings.
